I bought a Series 11 42m and 46mm because of band sizing issues, per my previous post. On Wednesday night 3/4 at 11PM, I turned on both and left them on my table. I did not use the watches on purpose as I wanted to see what depletion would be in a resting state. Both were already setup with my normal apps so no background processes running.
I'm positive that I can make it through at least one day of actual use (especially my actual use of music at the gym and no always-on display) with both watches but I don't think the difference in battery capacities is immaterial, as Apple implies by its marketing. Based on the depletion above, I think I can last an entire additional day with the 46mm. Is this what you are seeing?
| 42mm Battery % | 46mm Battery % | Difference % | |
| Wed 3/4 11PM | 100% | 100% | |
| Fri 3/6 12PM | 54% | 71% | 17% |
| Sat 3/7 12PM | 24% | 50% | 26% |
| Sat 3/7 9PM | 9% | 34% | 25% |
