Hey all
I have a S2 watch, and for the last week or longer, I have gotten the alert that my battery is at 10%. I have almost never gotten this alert before that in my S2, it always lasted perfectly and I never even thought about battery. Now all of a sudden it is an issue. What could cause this sudden of a change? I haven't installed any new apps that I can think of, and I can't think of any drastic use changes. What could be the issue here? I am running 10.3 PB on my 7 plus but my Watch is on latest public version, no beta.

I would try a few things first. If you haven't already, try a re-pair, or a hard reset. If those options do not work, I would start removing any applications that are third-party that may be contributing to battery drain. Being you have a Series 2, you shouldn't been experiencing any battery issues other than it could be a software glitch.

Otherwise, Apple can do a free battery diagnostic over the phone with the Apple Watch.

I had the same issue with my S0. Saw a post about it possibly being the MLB at Bat watch app. Uninstalled it yesterday and am seeing how today goes!

I do have that installed and it is now baseball time so perhaps it is updating in background....I turned off background app refresh and I'll see if that's what was doing it.

I am seeing exactly the same thing on a Series 0, and has only started happening since I installed the phone Dev Beta at the weekend (I'm not using the Watch beta(. So I'm assuming it's a bug in this phone beta. Have reported it to Apple, let's see if the next Beta fixes things.

I think do third party applications can be a major problem with the battery onnnr Watch. Mainly because the application isn't fully optimized appropriately.

MLB At bat and maybe some other background apps I turned off were definitely the problem. Still at 70%. It must have been the fact that baseball started and my watch was constantly updating the score, pitch count, etc, while I wasn't even using that app. Thanks for suggestion @theshoehorn !

Looks like it fixed mine too! Hope MLB fixes this.

I wonder if it is a bug or just a natural consequence of keeping background app refresh on. I didn't have to uninstall mine, just turning off background app refresh worked.

I've had this happen a few times, and I think it was because I had a set of Powerbeats 3 that were starting to fail -- those are going in for service. Regardless, re-pairing the watch always fixed the issue for me.

I just started having the same problem. Just a couple of weeks ago if I woke up to a full charge I got that full day, slept with it on and got another full day and even then I wasn't always getting a warning. Today it died before work was done and I used it even less than usual, that plus it was fully charged before bed last night.

I posted in a new thread. Today, I've noticed that in the Watch app, my usage shows as 0 minutes with 12.5 hours of standby. Battery is at 33% where it normally would be at 65% right now.

I think watchOS 3 .2 cannot get here fast enough for some forum members. Hopefully within the next month to resolve some of the current issues.
