I'm going to buy a S2 soon and I was wondering about the differences between the S2 and the Nike edition. As far as i know the watch itself is the same, but the Nike comes with a few custom faces. Anything else?

I ask this because I really like the Nike bands better, which as far as I know they are not sold separately.

If your only holdup in the band you can get a Nike style band on Amazon. Maybe $20 IIRC.

I believe the only differences are the band and some watch faces that try encourage you to run more or something.

As above, you can buy the band.

If you're on the fence, buy the Nike. Pretty sure they're even the same price or close, and you get the watch faces. It does everything the S2 will do.

Essentially what you are receiving with the Nike Apple Watch, is a few custom watch faces, the Nike band and the Nike run club app. The Nike run club app is exclusive and is more of a custom fitness tracker, with competing against other friends, additional Nike challenges and Nike Run Club Playlists on Apple Music.

And all the other Series 2 features apply to the Nike watch as well.

The Apple Watch Nike+ is a Series 2 Apple Watch, so there's no "S2 vs. Nike".

The others have named the difference between it and the regular Apple Watch. The Nike+ bands are available separately.

I don't think the Nike Run Club app is "exclusive" to the Nike-branded watch... I have a non-Nike AW S2 and use the Nike app every time I run.

The Club App is exclusive the Series 2 Nike Apple Watch. The other Series 2 models (Which they are all Series 2 in terms of tech specifications without Nike branding) have the exact same features with the brightness, water resistance and GPS, minus the Watch faces, band and Club App.

I am telling you that I use the Nike Run Club app on my non-Nike S2 almost every day. It is NOT exclusive to Nike watches.
It comes PREINSTALLED on the Nike watches... but you can just install it from the app store for any non-Nike watch.

Both The Nike Watch and Series 2 Apple Watches are one in the same model with the EXACT same technical specifications, with the exception of the Nike Run App exclusive to the Nike Watch only, which the The regular Series 2 stainless/black stainless/aluminum models DO NOT have that Nike Run App upon purchase. I'm not referring to any Non Apple Watches with it preinstalled. Just the differences between the Series 2 models.

Maybe you're confused about what exclusive means? Something exclusive is "restricted or limited to the person, group, or area concerned; not obtainable elsewhere."
The Nike Run Club app is not exclusive to the Nike watch because it's available on every Apple Watch from the App Store.

I guess you could say PREINSTALLATION of the Nike Run Club app is exclusive to the Nike watch... but that's not really important so I don't know why you'd say that...

I explained to you as throughly as possible the Series 2 differences between the Nike Watch and Regular Series 2 models. That's all I was referring to, NOT the stand alone App included/discluded from the Nike Apple Watch. The Nike Apple Watch has the Club exclusive to that Model Watch only made by Apple, which the other Series 2 models do not acquire.

Telling people the NRC app is exclusive to Nike-branded watches is just wrong. It is not exclusive to the Nike watch and is available from the App Store for every version of Apple Watch. It shouldn't be a factor in someone deciding which version of Apple Watch to purchase.

Call me pedantic if you'd like... but you were misinforming the OP and needed to be corrected.

I understand it comes preinstalled to the Nike Apple Watch on that version when you make the purchase. The other models of Series 2 do not include this upon the purchase. That was my whole point. That Doesn't make it wrong what I said, my interpretation is different than yours clearly .

Nah, you're still wrong but I'm not wasting my time explaining anything to you anymore!

OP, Nike Run Club app is available on all Apple Watches.

Agreed. Also, noted on four different posts already mentioned on the App "Exclusiveness." Thanks for the discussion though.

Aside from actually proving my point for the first time indicated in your post, it comes preinstalled and is exclusive to the Nike Apple Watch on that version when you make the purchase. The other models of Series 2 do not include this upon the purchase. That was my whole point.
- You misused the word "exclusive", which is the whole point here. Your initial post made the point that the Run Club app could not be obtained on a non-Nike+ Apple Watch, and that the Nike+ Apple Watch therefore had that advantage over other models of the Apple Watch. This is false, which @kevo0822 corrected so as to not give the OP the wrong impression and the wrong basis upon which to make his purchase decision.

Perhaps my clarity wasn't the most appropriately used, but I think it's a matter of the differences I was trying to explain between the Series 2 models, which can be confusing when you factor they all have the same specifications what they offer, except for the Nike watch, which has those features exclusive just to the Apple Watch, which I'm not disputing it couldn't be downloaded separately from any other smart watch separately if someone chooses. The exclusive term I used was just to differentiate between the other Series 2 models and the Nike model, which those models do not have the Nike features.

I have to admit, I was a little confused about that as well, which is why I asked earlier if the version on the Nike Watch was different from the App Store app.

I knew the Nike Watch had some exclusive faces and a couple of band colors the silver/volt and I believe silver/white as well as the Nike Labs limited edition bone/black one that I would very much like

Agreed. Truthfully, I didn't know that you could download the application separate from the Nike Apple Watch. I think when Apple labeled the Series 2 Apple Watch, it includes the Nike watch, the regular/black stainless/aluminum Series 2 models, and the Hermes Series 2. They all have the same technical specifications, with the exception of the Nike watch, which has obviously it's own variations.

@kevo0822. I will say, I was not aware you could download the application separately. So there was probably some general confusion there as well. My apologies.
