S3 aluminum watch - light coming out on edges normal?

It's as shown in the attached picture. When I turn on flashlight, lights come out on the edges. It does not seem to happen with stainless steel models. Is this normal?

I haven't tested the aluminum model, but based off what you're saying and showing in your picture, I don't See any abnormalities.
