Although titanium do scratch less easily once it does get scratched it’ll be more difficult to remove. Titanium will bent more easily though although for most this won’t be an issue. I've never found it to cause a problem with battery life, though I tend to always have a backup watch available when I need to charge anyway. I tend to record at least one GPS/LTE workout a day – often two – so battery drain from AOD is the least of my worries.

I have an automation to turn it on and off, but there’s no significant change in battery consumption.
