The 40mm looks in better proportion in my opinion but some prefer bigger watches.
yeah 40mm. I like my black, gold, and white watches in the “little black dress” size, and go huge “boyfriend watch” for silver SS and space gray. I have similar wrists, maybe a little bigger.
With your cardigan/sweater in the pix above, I prefer the smaller watch. But if you were ever to dress up in a blazer or even more casual clothings, you'd definitely prefer the bigger watch. It won't make it look as if the watch is undersize when your sleeve is not as "tight" fitting on your clothes. Also, I personally prefer the wider band in comparison to the band width on the smaller watches.
i think it will with the silver lugs peeking out.. same for apple’s own leather straps.. am thinking maybe the noir is better cos of black lug and black band?
my own Apple leather bands are seeing lower usage now though I prefer using leather loops for the full colour lug+band look.. looks more even like a sport band but way more formal

yeah i figured... they should just make them interchangeable so we can have those parts in white...
how about sport band (not loop)? the new pomegranate one reminds me of cranberries colour somehow..
Is anyone rocking silver stainless lugs on their ceramic? There’s all these tempting discount modern buckle bands on eBay I wanna get for my 40mm but I just can’t pull the trigger thinking of the mismatched lugs
no i feel ceramics don't match well with metal lugs, unless you are willing to overlook. full colours (including the lugs) are the best, so best leather band is the leather loops if there's a discount there..
The new Pomegranate band goes really well with the ceramic.

Yeahhhh except I have the 40mm argh. I have a 44 ss silver as well so I get to enjoy a bunch of leather loops but also not enjoy them fully haha.
I have the new space black modern buckle and I haven’t had the guts to rock it on the ceramic but it will have to do. The panda look is passable.
Giving sport loops another chance. The summit white nike isn't too bad! I wanted it to look like a spaceflight instrument and it definitely gives off those vibes. I wish they'd come out with a reflective orange sport loop, that'd look downright dope.
Got the opportunity to learn affinity designer as well since illustrator is subscription only now, made a custom watch face for it! I'll post it in case anyone wants it. I can scale it up for 44 if anyone needs that, but it's currently scaled for a 40mm watch.

I got the summit for cheap open box on eBay before the ceramic was even announced, such a perfect fit. Don’t see any on eBay now but all of the “permanent” bands are always floating around for 30 or so open box from these pawn shops or people who buy up the open box bands in bulk, so hopefully that changes.This is so cool!!! Now I have to find that sport loop! This matches my NASA Vans.
