I decided to upgrade from my blue Series 6 to a Stainless Series 9. This will be my first Stainless Steel model. Thought about the Ultra 2 but seems kind of bulky and I'm not an adventurist. I'll probably keep it for 2-3 years unless they release a model but some blood sugar monitoring.

I have the graphite ss 6 and am debating an upgrade. It still works great for me, but I feel like I’d like the extra display space that the 9 would have. I’m still quite on the fence.

For display space alone, I would not upgrade. Unless you're going from the 41mm to the 45mm. There are other reasons to upgrade from the S6, but IMO that's not, alone, a good enough reason. But the other features are cool, I still recommend you upgrade. :) (I'm not, from S8 but I would from S6).

I have the 6 stainless steel and not interested in upgrading to 9 because the changes are so minute...if I get the 9 and then sitting on my wrist it feels like I still have the 6...the changes are internal and the design looks the same. Hopefully next year there will be a wow factor.

I’m going from a blue s6 to a midnight s9, looking forward to the double tap feature when it’s released, the accessibility version won’t let me answer a call using it, something that would actually be useful, also looking forward to on device Siri.

I'm upgrading from a S6 titanium to a S9 aluminum. Not a fan of the stainless, but if they had a Ti S9, I would have upgraded to that.

For the last several years, my big hope has been that they would update the cellular chip on the watch to include Band 71, as I'm in an edge are for T Mo.

They didn't do that, but they did switch to onboard Siri which will solve 1/2 my problems with cellular. If they didn't add that I would have probably just looked for a used S7 Ti. The bigger screen & the swipe to text would have been ice upgrades to my 6 (but not for full new Titanium price).

Now with onboard Siri & double tap, I think I will be happy with this one for a while. I would switch to the Ultra, but I just don't care for the way it looks.

The double tap and onboard Siri are nice additions as well. I think the 6 to 9 upgrade is decent for those that want to upgrade. Waiting for one more version might have made the upgrade more enticing.

Yeah, eventually, all of the smaller things add up. It‘s at want stage for me (s7). Next year might be WANT!!! stage.

Sounds like a great upgrade…I’m sure you’ll enjoy😊. The larger face, fast charging and the 2,000 nits alone….seems like a great upgrade from the 6!!!

Personally, thought the colors of the Series 6 were awesome. I was between the red and the blue and settled on the red series 6…loved it! I now have the SS series 7. The SS gives you so many more band options than the blue/red AW6:)

Yes, the blue and red are nice but you are right about limited band options that coordinate. Stainless pretty much opens it up to almost anything.
