S7 Bands much looser than previous generations

I’ve noticed that all S7 bands (very obvious on some, less on others) have fairly loose lugs and even click on the braided solo loop. Thinking this was a defective band, I brought mine to the apple store. Surprisingly, all of the bands tested had this same problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

The two I've fitted are tight on my SS Graphite 45mm. Leather Link and 3rd party Nomad metal.

Make sure it's the right way up with the springy middle metal tab down. Apologies if prior knowledge.

I returned my Olive Gray/Cargo Khaki Nike Sport Band because lugs were loose.
