S7 Keyboard not loading in iMessage

I spoke to apple support and they have no idea but said there's a few tickets for it. They had me reset the watch and it didn't work. It's set to US/English and the keyboard works in the app store.

Has anyone had this and fixed it?

So it’s defaulting to scribble in Messages? When composing a message, swipe up from the bottom…you don’t have a choice of keyboard and scribble?

Nope, no scribble, no dictation. When I click on the "iMessage" bubble nothing happens. Swipe up doesn't do anything.

Does keyboard display in other apps like Mail? Have you tried to unpair your Watch? Pair as new and not restore from backup?

I don't use mail but it only works in the app store.

I've factory reset it and paired it as new

Try to install WatchOS 8.1 that was released today....maybe update will correct this issue.
