Hi guys,

I've been using the Apple saddle brown leather case for over a month now and it's starting to age nicely. It certainly gives my Iphone a more classy feel but at times I do feel it's a little bulky, slightly slippery as well.

Anyone ever found a more "classy" and "elegant" case that is minimal and thin at the same time?

What are your thoughts on this? How do you feel about this?

The MagCase from Pitaka is a minimal case which I personally think looks very nice with the twill pattern (gives it a sort of carbon fiber look)

I just discovered it last week based on a suggestion from another post here but I havent picked it up. Hesitant to do so as we are only two months away from new iphones.

I use a leather case from Piel Frama (handmade and excellent quality) both for my iPod Touch and for my iPhone SE.

Elegant, under-stated, and classy.

I expect to pay more for quality. Do you have a link?

Off hand, no; I just googled Piel Frama.

They have a good, and easily navigable website; the company is Portuguese, (I think).

I found out about them when researching good quality leather cases - as most of the stuff that was available was garish, or that awful silicone, and I wasn't all that crazy about the Apple leather cases.

But Piel Frama do have quite a lot of suff for Apple products, and I was surprised (and delighted) to be able to find a case for my iPod Touch (hardly anyone makes those anymore) and also, for my iPhone SE.

Thanks, I'll look it up when I get home tonight.
There's some nice looking things there, thanks.

Actually, oops, mea culpa: They are Spanish, not Portuguese.

Their stuff is lovely and I am very happy with the two cases I bought from them; you'll find reviews online, as well.
I've never heard of them until your post but I will buy a case from there if I can settle on one and perhaps I'll get my wife a band for her AW. Being from Texas I enjoy leather products which can be expensive!
