Since upgrading to Safari 10 I find that only some of the video links work. It seems quite random which ones actually play.

Moving to Chrome everything works normally.

I'd prefer to stay with Safari so can anyone suggest a solution to this please ?

I am still on El Cap and will upgrade when the early adopters problems have been sorted out..

I disabled & re-enabled my Click to Flash extension, and it now works properly.

UPDATE: I disabled my Click to Flash plugin, and didn't re-enable it, and NOW everything works great :)

I have discovered where the problem originated.

In Safari, preferences, advanced, the internet plug ins (to save power) box had been ticked. I unticked this and the problem disappeared and video now operates normally. This must have taken place when I updated safari last week.

"It just works" yeah, right !

Guess who is staying on El Cap until at least Mac OS 10.12.2.0 !

Glad you found the issue, as it is nice to find the SOLUTION.

I looked at mine, and it was unchecked, so my videos are playing properly also :)
