Yesterday I tried to order from my iMac (Ventura 13.0.1) using Safari (16.1) from a UK website that requires 3D Secure security system for credit card transactions, and it repeatedly failed. I couldn't tell what was not working, but today I used Microsoft Edge 107.0.1418.56 to attempt the order and it worked fine.

What was NOT showing up, even as an empty box or anything on Safari, was a box asking my to provide my phone number to get a Security Code, which I had to use to confirm the order with. With Edge, the box popped up with the message and I got the Security Code...on Safari, never even got the box, just a notification that the transaction had failed.

I retried the same purchase with Safari, and it again failed, then I tried using Chrome...and it worked fine.

What do I need to do to make Safari work correctly with 3D Secure (evidently, this is required of all EU websites)?

Thanks!
