I'm on 13.0.1. Still got that issue. It's driving me nuts. It's possible to temporarily mitigate it by starting safari in safe mode and then pulling a tab out but it'll return.god this bug was annoying - just upgraded to 13.0.1, and while safari is still at version 16.1 like before, the behavior is back to normal. everything works as it should.
Just updated to 16.2 and I believe it is fixed. It has been chuffing annoying.
