Safari 3 beta

    I want to download the new Safari but it wont let me. i have mac osx 10.4.10 any thoughts? is it worth it to download?

    What happens when you try to download it?

    Yes, I think it's worth it. I've been using it as my primary browser for months now with very few problems and several nice features.

    lets see

    "you cannot install safari 3 beta on this volume. this volume does not meet the requirements for this update." thoughts?

    Do you have Safari 2 installed and in your Applications folder?

    And is your Safari 2 app titled "Safari"?

    I've seen more than a handful of people with this exact problem, and the reason has always been that they had either renamed Safari 2, had moved it into a subfolder within Applications, or had moved it somewhere else entirely.

    If it's not one of those things, I'm at a loss...sorry. :(

    i have a custom icon will that do anything?

    Ya i did what you said it was in a folder within applications....Thanks
