I usually have 2 Gmail widgets on my dashboard, but since installing Safari 3(beta), they don't work at all - no blinking Gmail text, nothing at all in the area that shows emails.

Anyone else having the same issue.

    10.4.9 on PPC.

Same issue but with wikipedia widget and google widget (not the stock Apple one). Would be interested in any fixes, cheers.

Same problem here (Core 2 duo, so it's not just PPC)

that is an issue the developers will need a few days to weeks to address, give them time, but it is not an apple issue or rather one apple needs to address.

Uninstalling Safari 3 beta "fixes" the problem. At the moment the Gmail widget is more important to me than the Safari 3 features. (And unfortunately the Gmail menu bar notifier thing can't cope with more than one account).

Hopefully the same applies to SafariStand...
