hello,

I was wondering when i mostly click links, the links are marked up to open in new tabs in most web browsers, but in safari it open in new page.

anyone know how to change it to open in new tab

Safari Preferences---> General tab
At the bottom you can select it to open in new tab

That only applies to other applications (i.e. Mail, Word, etc.). This is what you want for links from within Safari:



Open Terminal.app (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal). Then enter the following:
defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true

Then restart Safari.
