Yeah, My GF was having the same issues when checking her mail on here. I'd say it doesn't play nice with the Safari 4 Beta.

    Switch

How ya try not using hotmail? Gmail or any other service is far better.

Noticed this too. I guess that's what comes of using beta software.

I always have FireFox as a backup browser just in case Safari fails to produce results on a website. I recall Safari used to have problems displaying some features of Hotmail but prior to Safari 4 beta they seemed to be worked out.

And there was some other stuff with like codecs and whatnot that Firefox excelled at. But I use Safari whenever I can and can't wait for 4 to leave beta.

There are known issues with using hotmail and Safari 4. There are also issues with it interfering with Windows Messenger and causing it to behave strangely. As much as I like the beta, I use certain hotmail types and Messenger as my primary contact solutions, so Safari 3 it is until everything is worked out, whether it be from Apple or Microsoft (in my case).
