Safari 4 on Tiger

Ok so the other I decided to take out my white iMac and reinstalled Tiger to delete all the crapware installed over the years. It is Fast! so much faster than it was before but my question is if I upgrade to safari 4 will it stay fast or will it slow. I know that Safari 4 is faster but it doesn't help when the comp can barely run it. What should I do. This is the 17" iMac white w/ 1.83GHz CD

I run Safari 4 on my 500 MHz iBook G3. Does that answer your question? 😛

I'm running Safari 4 on my 1.33 GHz iBook with Tiger. It's about 2.5 to 3 x as fast as Firefox.

Only difference I've noticed is it broke Sogudi, but it definitely isn't any worse.
