    :apple:One step! Set your homepage to this and restart!
    http://www.apple.com/safari/welcome/

    Make this your homepage its a nice greeting and opens up your top sites fast. Might work on other browsers but is meant for Safari 4!:apple:

    Much slower than going directly to Top Sites.

    Suit yourself, but it serves no purpose after you've seen it, other than to slow down doing what you need to do. Of course, you may have more free time on your hands to waste than some of us do.

    Didn't think to try it yesterday, but apparently that animation works on the iPhone also. Cool.

    Firefox -> no.
    Chrome -> no.

    Guess it requires the CSS animations.

    It doesn't work on my iPhone. It tells you to download the Safari 4 Beta to view the page.

    I actually set that as my homepage yesterday. I had no use for my previous homepage (iGoogle), and rather than jumping straight to Top sites, I can get a nice, short welcome message every time I launch Safari.

    Nah, the video is a .mov file.

    The site uses the new HTML5 <video> and <audio> tags.
