Safari 4: Web page previews take 4.5Gb

You can have your history set to unlimited. So I'd assume that that file could reach astronomical sizes in a year.

AFAIK, page preview is sort of an independent program on top of safari itself, it apparently has its own CPU process whenever it shows up. Im not sure the history is really related to this. It should be easy to test tho.

Well, I wasn't impressed with Safari 4, at all. So will be sticking with S3 as long as I can.

I reset safari and gain over 1GB of space. hmm, i wonder what else is out there.

I hope so, but I don't care too much. I just got a machine with a 500GB drive and have come to love history in coverflow. This is definitely a lot more useful that it seems.

I'll reset Safari and see how much disk space is freed 🙂
