safari 4 / windows xp - difficulty streaming some radio stations

Not that this post will help you but the more I use safari for windows the more I hate it. It consumes too much resources, seems to have a memory leak that brings my machine to a crawl and it crashes consistently - at least once a day.
If it wasn't for the syncing of my bookmarks from my home computer, I'd uninstall it, and I may just do that. I've run into problems with safari that I never do with firefox and gasp IE
