So since downloading Safari 5, I've found that some websites don't seem to display properly in the browser. For example, the BBC news website (see attachment if it works). As well as this, some of the media on the website doesn't seem to work. Any videos (except live feeds) just don't show up in the browser. Even some pictures won't show.
Anybody have any similar issues, or now how I could fix it?

nope it's you. i use bbc as my homepage and never had such a problem. you mac must be broken, could be the logic board. 'd go to the genius bar.. thanks, Paul.

Thats simply not true.

To Sandford:
Have you restored safari? and made a safe reboot holding down shift on startup?

Have you tried with firefox if the same problem exist there?
 
Safari 5 and BBC site

Yes, I have also found that the BBC site doesn't quite display properly; for me there are always a row of crosses through the subsection headings on the front page- which certainly weren't there a before I upgraded... wonder what's going on...?

Try to delete all the cookie using onyx and all the cache files. Have you repaired permissions? I have had the same issue with photos collapsed on a webpage.
