have a 2010 macbook running lion... installed Safari 6.. this is um no good.. slow as molasses..

A fair question
Have you emptied your caches, checked your extensions for compatibility, etc?
Have you restarted your computer?

ok well just did all this.. cant say its any faster than safari 5.x.x

I can't say it is OMG faster!!!1
But there are some things load quicker enough that I took notice

I'm sure everyone's usage and mileage will vary based on multiple factors

2011 MBA

I installed it last night on my 2011 11" MBA. I didn't notice a big speed increase, but it feels like it's running smoother. Loving the unified address-search bar, not really loving how it spreads the tabs out.

i can't install ML until next week but part of me dreads it as i dont wanna make my system slower
