Hi Folks,

I have been using Adblock pro-legacy app as Safari Adblock plugin. Its not blocking youtube ads anymore and many static ads too.

I have tried other apps from Mac-App store like Adblock, Adblock plus and KA-Block, but no luck. Although, adblock in chrome works perfectly.

I think this is more of a Safari issue in High Sierra !!!

Ublock isnt supported in Safari 13 in High Sierra. Adguard seems very heavy/slow and buggy while i tried it.

I looked into reviews of other adblock apps in appstore, and most of them are broken now and cant block youtube ads, probably due to some updated privacy tricks by Youtube algorithm.

just a suggestion..Ive been using the Brave browser while using HS. Once prefs has turned off all the un-required stuff, it ad blocker is rather good...including youtube.

yes i also use Brave and its inbuilt adblocker is real damn good. I tried Edge as well with adblock extension, its a little lighter on resources than chrome i believe.
