Safari address bar- GONE

I've reset the address bar. Nothing is working! What should I do?

Go to View --> Customize Address Bar... and drag the address/search field item back into the address bar.

Just right (control) click the toolbar and choose "Customize Toolbar" - then just click and drag the address bar back.

Did you try resetting safari

If I click on View, a drop down appears, the first choice says Hide Address Bar. What does it say for you? Unhide Address Bar or something similar?

If that were the problem the back/forward, stop/reload, and add bookmark buttons wouldn't be there either.

Thank you VERY much for all the responses guys. I really needed my address bar, so I re-installed safari. Thanks again!
