Safari address bar question

is there any way to get the address pulldown bar like in firefox and explorer? i rather use that to browse my freq. used places instead of the history. i attached a pic to see what i mean.

No way that I know of.

You might want to check on Pimp My Safari which has almost all the Safari modifications in one place.

what about the auto-complete. Lets say im goingin to cnn.com And i have a C and an N and it pops up with cnn.com but if i typed in cnnn and delete the last n nothing pops up. Is that just the way safari is or something i can change?
