After a recent update to the system I can no longer use Safari, no matter what URL I enter I get a reapeted "A Problem Occurred with this Webpage so it was Reloaded" so I have no web access. I have a further upgrade is indicated but if I try to select it the appstore does not load, it just shows the dreaded circle of doom. I have reset Safari as suggested but to no avail, any help would be very much appreciated.

Firstly, install Chrome so you have a working web browser. To download Chrome, enter the following in Terminal:

Code:
cd ~/Downloads && curl -O# https://dl.google.com/chrome/mac/stable/GGRO/googlechrome.dmg

Secondly, please provide a list of all the diagnostic reports on your Mac:

Note: The following procedure must be performed on an OS X user account that has administrative privileges.

  1. Open Terminal.
  2. Enter the following:

    ls -1 ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
  3. Include the contents of the Terminal window in a reply to this post.
