Flash crashes and more
Same behavior. All websites with Flash would crash the Flash plug in. No amount of uninstalls/reinstalls of plug helped.
Here's a weird solution (and I only found it because Word was crashing too with an error message that referred to corrupt or missing fonts). In my case the Snow Leopard upgrade had duplicated fonts and was messing up everything:
Launch Font Book (in applications). Select all fonts (click on first font, scroll down to last font and shift-click on it--now all fonts should be highlighted). File>Validate Fonts. It will put little exclamation marks next to all the problematic fonts. Find duplicates and remove by checking on them and pushing "Remove checked" button.
