Hi all,

(Disclaimer: I know there are a number of Safari threads around right now, but none of them really address this issue)

Has anyone else noticed incorrect javascript functionality in either the latest version of Safari, 10.3.6, or Hotmail itself (yeah, I know, it's probably Hotmail...)? Specifically, when emptying my junk folder or transferring a message from there to another folder, you used to get a generic looking, pop-up javascript message saying "Are you sure...?" Then, you'd click 'OK', and all would be done.

However, for the last couple of weeks (at least since Hotmail was "improved" and bumped up to 250Gb), when performing the same action, I'm greeted with a very Windows-y looking pop-up, and after clicking 'OK' ...nothing at all happens. This means that I now have no way of emptying my junk-mail and, more importantly, can't move non-spam messages into my in-box for keeping.

I refuse to use IE, so if this is Microsoft's way of telling Safari users to p*ss off, then "nice...but no cigar." I've also duplicated the problem on another computer, but still don't understand exactly what's causing it. Have Apple changed the way Safari handles javascript, or is it a more general issue in 10.3.6??

Any help much appreciated!

mine does exactly the same, and because i have only been using macs since tuesday, i assumed it was just another thing that was not working due to the ignorance of the masses.
