if you go to a room in games.yahoo.com you'll notice how horrible the room looks compared to a browser on windows...why is this? is there a way to fix the look (mainly the text inside the java window)? it's almost unbearable.

edit: i'm using Safari 2.0

It says, "Note: Bowling is not compatible with Unix or Macintosh computers."

That's what I really hate about Macs. You always have to worry about compatibility in a Windows world.

On the other hand with Windows you always have to worry about spyware, viruses, etc.

I wish computing was a perfect world 🙁

Why is most likely because the site was programmed for the way MSIE interprets HTML/CSS and perhaps for the way MS' JVM works.... 🙁 You can try Firefox to see if it's any better on Macs. But at the core, in general people outside of Windows have pushed this back on site designers because all of this comes back to MSIE failing to comply with standards. 🙁
