Can you copy from a web page viewed in Safari and then paste it in a Pages document (on the iPad)?

Cool. I was going to use that as a way to save pages offline. I know there are apps that will do that, but I need to save many pages from the same site and Doing it in one document will work better for me.
I was also thinking it might be a work-around for not be able to export from Numbers in an Excel format. I Could make a table in numbers then cut & paste it into Pages Then export it as a doc file. I then copy and paste the table into Excel. Or Apple could just make it where I can export from Numbers to Excel. 🙂

Cannot export a Numbers file to Excel when it is on my desktop because I run Windows 7 and do not have iWork.
On a side note, you can copy from Safari to Pages but it only copies the text--no pictures. 🙁

Press and hold on the picture and you can either copy that single picture, or if you are in need of a bunch of pictures, you can tell it to save to photo roll. From there, once in pages, there is a 'media' tab (or something to that sorts) where you can input pictures from your saved photo library.
