While my imac allows streaming radio thru safari, my ipad won't. The halp page on the radio stream offered links to flip for mac and windows media player for mac. When I tried to download either one, a window appears saying safari won't allow download....any ideas ???

The best solution is a streaming radio app. But depending on the stream-type the app itself may not be able to play it.

I use "TuneIn Radio". It can play AAC, MP3, and WMA streams for sure. Maybe others, too.

It could be that you have Flip4mac installed on your computer enabling windows media but the iPad does not support this.

There are some great radio apps. the best in my opinion is http://www.Beautifulclockradio.com, A great simple app with a clock and alarm. i through out my old alarm clock and now just use this next to my bedside at night.
