Taking this forum as an example, Safari underlines all the thread titles and it's a bit of an eyesore tbh. Is there any way to disable this behaviour, have I just missed a really obvious setting somewhere?

Thanks.

What you are referring to is something that is one of the only ways of identify links without actually clicking on them. Of course some websites use different colours for the links but then each website could be different so the main way is underlining. Removing this would really make the website harder to use and you do not know what to interact with. Of course it is different on this site as only font colour would do.

But anyway, it is not a setting you can change on the browser itself but something that the web developer must implement. Although I am sure there is some way to override this using something like greasemonkey scripts for firefox if you were using a desktop browser. But since this is an iPad forum, I would say no way.

Thanks for the reply, thought it would be something along those lines, but some sites look a right mess on the iPad. Not a big issue though.
