I know this seems trivial with the other bigger bugs within iOS 18. But has anyone noticed or know how to fix the new safari backgrounds not showing up? I’m on iOS 18.2, iPhone 16 Pro Max. I’ve restarted my device, erased website data, turned off backgrounds and turned them back on. But they still just don’t show up :-(.

*whoa*

I never knew the option existed!

Following the advice to go-through the Tabs > + > [scroll-down] > Edit > [scroll-down] > [select-background-image] on my iPhone 13 Mini, it worked!

I see the chosen Background Image only when I am in the Start Page (when selecting a new site/tab (it does not override an existing site's BG)).

I'm not much for bling, so will probably turn it off.

I am on an iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 18.2 and the new stock wallpapers disappeared for me too. I still have one available because I was already using after the feature first came out.

I still laugh at how spectacularly terrible the Safari backgrounds are

On my phone it shows the new ones but I need to download them. Oddly when I click on one to download, it just spins and doesn’t download.
