The bookmarks I have saved have suddenly disapeared, its an intel imac, safari 2 (most current versions of everything), any way to get them back?

i accidentally deleted my bookmarks once. fortunately, i had a backup set of bookmarks from firefox. might you have another browser with bookmarks from which to import? 😱
