Does anyone know when apple will include a decent html5 (video codec) or provide a an extension instead of the total reliance on Flash Player… Don’t get me wrong flash player is good for some things but HTML5 is much more convenient and less resource hungry?…..

The HTML5 video playback support on Safari 9 for OS X Yosemite/El Capitan seems decent enough to me. What issues are you having that are forcing you to use Flash?
