    Hello Folks,

I am writing an application for Mobile devices and got stuck with a Safari browser problem, the inline javascript coded in the body of the page is not executing ONLY on the iphone safari browser. It is working fine on the windows mobile browser.
Any inputs to resolve this will be appreciated.

It would be really helpful if you could give us the code to have a look at.

Not wanting to sound rude, but I imagine the problem is your code. Trying to blame Safari, which has far better javascript support than IE (let alone the mobile version) won't endear you to many round here.

Of course there are bugs in Safari, but many of the “Safari problems” I have read about are related to developers following poor practice.

The best thing to do is:
[1] Download Safari for the Desktop (they use the same engine)
[2] Turn on the Develop menu (Preferences > Advanced > Show Develop Menu)
[3] Develop > Show Error Console.

You can also inspect the element by right clicking on it and choosing inspect element. You can look at its properties.

Version of Webkit and Safari 4 also include a debugger for javascript.
