I was signing up for Suburu owners site...after I put in my screen name....Safari pops up and suggests a complicated password.....I said okay and it got me in...three days later it cannot remember the password it suggested.....any ideas???

Did you look in keychain and look for the corresponding date you signed up? It may be listed under a different heading than what you are trying to use for the website login.

Go to the website and initiate the forgot the password email recovery link process.

I had trouble a few times over the years with the same problem. I quit trusting keychain and went to using 1Password to generate the password. I then temporarily copy it to Notes before inputting the new password on the site. That way if there was a temporary problem or app glitch, I still have the password. I also use the Paste app, which comes in real handy in day to day use. It is much more powerful and user friendly than the stock clipboard app in MacOS.
