In the past week, Safari started working about 50% of the time when accessing pages. I receive "Safari Can't Open the Page". I never receive the error in Chrome and I'm using the same web sites. I'll go for a full day with Chrome without any issues, but have them constantly with Safari. I've removed everything through Privacy and no luck. Fully updated. Any one else who has had this issue?

I’m not sure if it’s the same issue or a different one, but I have an issue where Safari can’t open pages at certain times. It appears to be random, but it’s always the first time I try to open a page in a while. So if I open Safari from scratch , or if I have safari open, but haven’t opened any new pages in a while & try to open one. It just hangs, like it is trying to connect to the page. If I wait about 30 seconds or so & try to open the page again (in a new tab-for some reason, it doesn’t work in the same tab), it will open it like normal. The same tab will open instantly in Edge, just like you said.

Since some time last year, in the completely updated Mojave version of macOS, I can't get Safari to stream Xfinity TV at all on two different computers.

Someone let me know when they get all these issues fixed.

How does it fail - are you able to login?
Yes. Login and the website works fine. I get an "Attempting to Resume" message before anything plays and that changes to "This video can't be played".

I use Firefox or Chrome to do it. It's just that on my old MacBook the video worked so much better on Safari…until it didn't. There's no guarantee that if it started working again Safari would still be better but if it ever does I'll give it a shot.
