"Safari can't open this page"

When on eBay trying to navigate through my eBay account during a sale, I get the following message:

"Safari can not open this page because too many redirects offered"

What does this mean. I have used my iPad 1 to handle my eBay sales for a long time, why can't my iPad2 open a page like answering a question from a bidder?:mad:

Any ideas?
