I have had Safari crashes and hangs - where it won't load ANY websites.

What I do to fix it is double click the home button on the iPad to bring up the "task manager" and delete the Safari task. Seems like the save state the iPad keeps gets corrupted somehow. Bringing up Safari clean after this has always fixed my problem. I never clear cache/cookies/etc.

It's Safari.

I installed Atomic Web Browser and haven't had a crash since ..... so far.

Its unacceptable to me that Apple has not addressed this issue. I've read they had been deleting threads pertaining to Safari crashes w/iOS5 on Apple forums -- not sure if true b/c I don't go there.

Can you give a link to those forums <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<+

iOS issue

I have the same problem! I'm running iOS 5.1, and even have the new iPad!:eek:This problem is not unique to the older iPads and iPhones. Fix this soon apple!! I'm waiting!!!!!!
