Safari Copy words from website

I can't copy words from some website, it selected the whole box and I can't choose from where I want.
Is that a bug? Or there's a trick to do that?
I found no problem on Google Chrome but I prefer safari gestures.
BTW iphone 6 and ios 8.1.1

No trick that I know of. It just sucks. Often I just end up copying the entire thing, pasting into the Safari URL bar, and then re-selecting and copying what I actually want.

Have no idea why it is still like that after so many years.

Pinch to zoom in further and see if that helps. Often zooming in or out can control how much/which text is selectable.

Yeah, I'm no software or web coding expert, so I'm not sure why that's what happens, but I'm glad the zooming works for ya.
