Safari crashes when accessing apple.com

I am running Sierra on 2012 MacBook Pro. Safari version is 12.12. I bring up apple.com and then choose any tab (iPad,mac,etc) Safari unexpectedly quits and then goes into endless loop of (quit, restart, quit). It appears to be the only site that this happens. Works fine on Brave and Fire fox. Just ironic that apple browser dies on apples website.

I am going to get a new 16" when the stores open, it just ironic that the browser crashes on apple.com as soon as i move off the main page. It only happens on apple.com

No I haven't. Just use firefox to go to apple.com
