I have recently upgraded to Snow Leopard (10.6) and have noticed that whenever I start typing into Safari (or any other pre-installed system app) it Crashes. I have found a few other people who have fixed the problem but even after doing exactly what they did (which was deleting the Cookie.plist file for Safari) Safari still crashes when I start typing.

Cheers.

I don't know about the other pre-installed applications, but you could try deleting and reinstalling Safari. (from Apple's website)

Strange. Sorry, that's all I can offer. 🙂

I have tried that but it won't allow me to install it as it thinks I have an earlier version of leopard when really I have Snow Leopard. I don't think apple's updated the Installer yet.
