This usually occurs when coming out of sleep, but it seems to be the result of losing an internet connection. It happens every time my connection is lost, whether it be from sleeping or pulling the ethernet cable. I have tried trashing the plist and removing all input managers, which included Stand, Safari Block, and Safari Plus.

Any other suggestions?

Yes, it is the latest version. I haven't always had this problem and I can't imagine it's typical. I'm just trying to figure out what the issue might be.

Okay, well this implies that there is likely still something left over from the add ins you installed. When you say you removed them, did you delete them all, and all remnants of them (use Spotlight to find associated files)? I would delete all associated files, delete the Safari PLIST again, and work from there, re-adding plug ins one-by-one. :)

I had been simply moving the plugins to the desktop, which is where I went wrong. I deleted everything using Appzapper and now it isn't crashing any more. Thanks . . .

Well, everything seemed to be OK again for a few days, but Safari is now, again, crashing every time my internet connection is lost (pull the ethernet cable, turn off airport, put to sleep). I still have no plugins installed. I thought about resetting Safari, but that doesn't seem like it does anything that might fix this problem. It is defeinitely something in my user account, but I'm not sure where else to look. Any ideas?

EDIT:

seems as though the culprit may have been a leftover plist file from Cooliris

Another EDIT:

that seemed to fix it, but hours later it's crashing again. I'm seriously confused
