I just tried to play a Divx movie in FF and it said there was a missing pluging and proceeds to ask if i wanted to install it. Naturally, i did and the movie played flawlessly after installation. However, Safari is my preferred browser and i tried to play the same movie but it crashes as soon as i click play. I checked to see if the plugin is installed and sure enough, it was.

So why the hiccup. Also found that Safari won't render some sites correctly as FF would. I prefer safari cos its faster and more integrated but recently it seems to be choking the more i push it

its just firefox is more widely supported cause well its one of the most popular browsers, where as safari, well isnt

its just like years ago when some websites would only work with internet explorer, its just there desgined to be used with firefox i suppose

well thats what i thought anyway

So pretty much screwed, oh well, i'll alternate between both browsers
