Updated to 13.5.2 yesterday, now Safari is totally unusable / crashing on startup. I have tried safe mode, re-install OS and it is still doing the same thing. This is on a 16" M2. WTF now??
Have not tried that yet. I can get it started via the passwords section of System Settings when I click on a site. I cleared history and cache but when I try to go to the tiled icon of Show Start Page it crashes again.Does it happen on a new user account?
Is that different from re-installing the OS?Just reload the OS from Recovery. Takes but a few minutes and should rectify any issues as looks to be localised to your Mac.

That's what it is. Modern OS's are ever more more complex and this is a zero risk solution. You could also wait to see if Onyx updates for 13.5.2 as that app generally resolves many issues with macOS.Is that different from re-installing the OS?
Did both of those (recovery install and extensions), still no dice on launching the app from the dock or in the app folder. I have a work around for now but at some point, this needs to be resolved. That's what it is. Modern OS's are ever more more complex and this is a zero risk solution. macOS now has two fallbacks in recovery to ensure the OS can be reinstalled. I'd also disable any extensions as they may also be the culprit and may need to update to be compatible with 13.5.2.

Out of answers as Safari runs as expected here on 13.5.2. Have you tried a new user account? My M1 MBP is streaming music now so doubt it's a wide issue.Did both of those (recovery install and extensions), still no dice on launching the app from the dock or in the app folder. I rarely if ever use Safari, but I tried it here after installing 13.5.2. It opened normally, so I doubt it's an universal 13.5.2 issue.Out of answers as Safari runs as expected here on 13.5.2. Have you tried a new user account? My M1 MBP is streaming music now so doubt it's a wide issue.
Fallback is to reload the entire MBP via IPSW from another Mac which will reset the OS and Firmware. In this case backup of user data is mandatory so be well warned...
