Anyone noticed this? It loads pages faster than ever before, it really is noticeable. 😀

I really noticed this on my iPad. Big improvement. Very happy with the performance.

I installed iOS 6 on my iPhone and iPad today and I was shocked by the speed increase!! I thought I might be imagining it because I hadn't read about t but it is defiantly faster!! Prob the best improvement in iOS 6....

On my iPad 3 it seems to be a little slower and I get a lot of crashes! Did you guys restored from backup or did a clean installation?

I definitely agree that Safari is quicker on iOS 6.

Another change I have seen, which speeds up the navigation process, is that when you open up a new page / tab, it now opens right next to the page you are currently viewing rather than at the end of the stack.

So, if you are viewing page 2 of 5, for example, the new page will open in slot 3 moving the others along by one.

Hope that makes sense, because I feel like I'm doing a very bad job of explaining what should be a simple concept.

🙂

I've had a couple of times where Safari would suddenly be unresponsive and I had to close it since going to the GM of ios 6.
