I swear there used to be a feature to always show the tab bar etc., instead of it hiding when you scroll down.

Is there a way to prevent the UI from collapsing when you scroll?

There are settings that allow you to show the Favorites bar or not, and to have tabs as a separate layer rather than next to the url window, but no matter what you choose, these elements will hide when you scroll. I can’t remember if Apple previously offered an option to keep these elements on screen at all times.

I was just about to make a thread, then I saw similar question was asked not long ago (although I wanted to ask about Safari on iPhone, so MacRumors, do not show me that it was “asked before” if it’s on another subforum)

Is there really no way to make Safari’s address bar and toolbar stay visible all the time? This has been bugging me more and more, every time I have to scroll up to bring them up.

Isn’t the purpose of computers to do what users want them to do? What happened to that? Why are computers bossing us around instead vice versa?

😡😡😡
