Safari erased all bookmarks?

Hey guys, it seems Safari on my MBP has erased all my book marks. This happened after syncing my iPad, I assume that is responsible. Anyone had this issue? Thanks.

This has happened to others; you are not alone. Try to uncheck the thing that syncs your safari bookmarks with your iPad in iTunes. It is under info > Other
